Hashka religion, sometimes called hashka Revelations or Hkunurá, generally refers to the varied beliefs and mythologies of the hashka population of Anschuhe. It may be better understood as a non-unified group of closely related religions tracing their ancestry to the hashka proto-religion. As such, there are various "denominations," local variations of myths and rituals, as well as different literary traditions which nonetheless find common ground in overarching psychological, philosophical and cosmological concepts.

Origins
Although the exact origin of the ancestral hashka proto-religion is hitherto unknown, it can be said to have already existed since at least 5900 BP, evidenced by several votive artefacts created by the Moó culture. These include ritual copper lamellae and bells.

Bone-flesh-soul trinity
In all hashka religions, every living being is defined as possessing three fundamental elements that compose the self: bone (hneF honeé), flesh (ciND ciin) and soul (HbaF hbaá). These are referred to as the trinity of being (HruR haGshaD hrur hàashaa).
The bone is the inner physical part of the self, believed to house one’s life and stamina. Consuming bones is a common practice, as it’s believed to prolong one’s life and nourish the soul by consequence.
The flesh is the outer physical, sensory part of the self, whose outermost layer consists of skin and muscle. Hashka religions usually don’t emphasise consuming the flesh of other beings, instead focusing on maintaining one’s flesh in an optimal state. Practices that are believed to improve one’s flesh are ritual bathing, the use of aromatic ointments and, in some groups, scarification.
